My paintings convey emotion - whether it's the stillness of the morning sunrise or the joy of the light throughout the seasons.
A lifelong artist, I am a member of the North Shore Art League and have participated in multiple group art shows at the Winnetka Community House.
Abstract Expressionism Paintings
While each idea manifests in its own individual style, I primarily paint in acrylic. I love exploring how language and math inform and influence the visual. Mixed-media projects demand the viewer to take a second look - go beyond the suface to see a deeper meaning.
Artistic Inspiration in Nature
Nature is restorative and healing. I enjoy walking through the woods and in nature preserves in Wisconsin and Illinois.
I find happiness in the smallest things, like the ice floats on Lake Michigan, or the brightness of the sky at sunrise, and how light engages the imagination.
